How do you begin your day to jumpstart your brain for greater productivity and peace of mind?

One of the most consistent questions I get from our community is how I start my day. I believe that if you can win the morning, you can win the day. And it all starts by establishing a set of routines and habits that create positive momentum to move you forward.

In today’s episode, I’m going to walk you through some of the habits I’ve created that make up my ideal morning. Notice how I said ideal. My goal is to do as many things as possible, but keep in mind that every morning is different. The important thing is to start the day with self-love and self-care, so remember to be kind to yourself as you work towards change.

Creating a morning routine takes advantage of the science of momentum, which helps you avoid decision fatigue. Instead of having to make constant choices, you let your routine generate energy to carry you through your day. If you want to learn how to begin each morning with clarity, vision, and direction, this episode is for you.

How do you remember more of what you read?

Have you ever read a page in a book and forgot what you were reading? And even if you go back and reread the page, you still can’t remember? This experience can be incredibly frustrating because you know how important it is to focus on what you’re reading and retain it, so you can go out into the world and implement your learnings.

I’m excited to bring you this special episode from VeeFriends at VeeCon, a Web3 event in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where I recently gave the opening speech and shared strategies for improving your memory. Today, I want to give you sneak peek into one of those methods by showing you how to remember Gary Vee’s top twelve emotional skills for greater levels of success from his book, Twelve and a Half: Leveraging the Emotional Ingredients Necessary for Business Success.

Leaders are readers, but in order to apply the valuable lessons in books, you have to retain them first. I’m going to walk you through an interactive exercise using a memory strategy that is fun, but more importantly, proven effective. If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to level up your reading, so you can learn faster and remember more, this episode is for you.

What if you were one action away from achieving your goals and changing your life?

You already know that mindset is the beginning of everything. But limiting beliefs can be tricky to identify, and they often work to subconsciously hold you back by making you feel overwhelmed and unprepared as you make progress. And sometimes all you need to do to overcome these obstacles is one more thing.

To talk about this powerful mindset, I’m thrilled to have Ed Mylett on our show today. Ed is an entrepreneur, keynote speaker, philanthropist, podcast host, and best-selling author of #Max Out Your Life: Strategies for Becoming an Elite Performer. In his newest book, The Power of One More: The Ultimate Guide to Happiness and Success, he teaches you how to turn emotion into action through the power of one more.

You’re much closer to your dreams than you realize, but you have to change your mindset towards success first. You never know when you’re one relationship, one meeting, one decision away from achieving greatness. Listen in, as Ed walks you through how to overcome the beliefs holding you back by going one extra step.

How do you unleash radical confidence?

Confidence is a subject that comes up a lot in our community and there’s a misconception that it means you no longer have doubt, fear, or insecurities. But building self-assurance doesn’t mean you get rid of those feelings. Instead, it’s a series of steps you take to overcome these internal struggles.

To talk more on this subject, I’m delighted to have Lisa Bilyeu on our show today. Lisa is cofounder of Quest Nutrition, cofounder and President of Impact Theory, and host of Women of Impact show. She’s also the author of the brand-new book, Radical Confidence: 10 No-BS Lessons on Becoming the Hero of Your Own Life, where she shares exactly how radical and life-changing self-empowerment can be.

Confidence isn’t an all-or-nothing experience. You don’t have to be perfect. You can be afraid. You can fail. But you can’t let that stop you. Listen in, as Lisa walks you through the gut-check questions you can ask yourself in every situation that will unleash your radical confidence.

How do you train your attention and stop your mind from wandering in only twelve minutes a day?

Maintaining your attention and focus in a world filled with distractions can be very difficult. The constant disruption of notifications can start to feel like you don’t have ownership over your own mind. But solutions like avoiding technology for periods of time rely on external intervention rather than giving you control over your ability to concentrate.

To go in-depth on this topic, I’m thrilled to have Dr. Amishi Jha on the show today. Dr. Jha is a neuroscientist and professor of psychology at the University of Miami. She’s also the author of the bestselling book, Peak Mind: Find Your Focus, Own Your Attention, Invest 12 Minutes a Day. Packed with over fifteen years of research, her book gives you practical steps on how to use mindfulness training to regain your ability to be present in any situation—in only twelve minutes a day.

Technology is a necessity in the modern world. Instead of removing access to digital devices, you can train your attention to be distraction-proof. Listen in, as Dr. Jha gives you actionable steps to start training your focus, notice where your attention is at any given time, and learn how to redirect to get back on track.
